The International Society of Advanced Level Medical Imaging Physician Specialists (ISMIPSI) provides a level of continuing educational programs on a minimum of a biannual basis for those allied healthcare professionals and physicians who function and perform procedures at advanced levels under the direct and/or immediate supervision of board certified/ eligible cardiologists, cardiothoracic surgeons, radiologists /interventional radiologists, and vascular surgeons in suites of invasive and interventional cardiology, cardiothoracic surgery, radiology, and vascular surgery in the United States, Canada, Latin America, and around the world.
The conferences provide extensive board review courses on cardiology, radiology and sonography related imaging topics that are presented by experienced and qualified educators from the academic and private medical practice domains.
In addition, all participants are guaranteed at least a 20 point gain on their board review examinations. If any are unsuccessful, they will be permitted to attend the review courses without any further cost until they pass the examination of their chosen medical imaging specialty.
